Danielle

As she lay sleeping so comfortable in her bed,
With dreams of happiness flowing through her head.
Knowing she was safe, for Mom and Dad were near,
No need to worry, there was nothing to fear.
Who would have ever imagined the horrible plight,
This precious little girl would face that night.
Now this little angel lives in Heaven with her Master,
But she will remain in our hearts forever after.
We ask ourselves why do tragedies like this occur,
Especially to a dear child as lovely as her.
Still an answer to this question we may never find,
No matter how much we search our mind.
But in the end I'm sure God will prevail,
And bring peace and happiness to you, Danielle.
